Inspired by Ai Wei Wei and Feng Boyi's Fuck Off Exhibition and William Powhida's Bill by Bill, the mockery Senior Studio Art show was put up as an institutional critique of the art education (here specifically targeting that at Dartmouth College), in particular the lack of critical dialogue and space for experimentation. Each senior Studio Art major's "work" is recreated by us rather than the artists themselves.

Interestingly, our original artist statement "disappeared" two days after the show was put up, and hence was replaced by its photograph.
